Bee Bongkoch Satongun
Affectionately known as Bee. She is a daunting woman to have in a kitchen for any male.
Her knowledge of Royal Thai cuisine is a text book that drives the team of Classical Thai forward. Working in Bangkok’s top hotels such as Sofitel Silom, Conrad Hotel and Bangkok Marriott. She has worked along side and is greatly respected by the leaders of the Bangkok Chefs Association. Due to this her resources for Thai culinary knowledge are boundless, which gives Classical Thai Cravings the ability to keep on developing and refining its cuisine.
Her love of food is above all else and could best be described as: if she is not cooking it, shes thinking about it and if shes not doing either shes eating it.
Bee comes from the center of Bangkok and has grown up in the culinary seen. Her family members own various restaurants and food stalls throughout central Thailand. Although at times she will work the floor at the restaurant, she is a woman who thrives on the fast pace and pressured style of a busy kitchen and it is where she feels most at home.
Bee and Jason are in constant competition with their knowledge of Thai cuisine due to them starting there relationship in Bangkok, where Bee was given the role of instructing Jason in Royal Thai cuisine by Jason’s mentor celebrity chef Chumpol Jaengprai.
